Every Clear-Flo kit consists of an industry-leading Laguna Max-Flo Solids Handling Waterfall & Filter Pump and a Pressure-Flo Pressurised Pond Filter System, a powerful water gardening duo that ensures continuous and efficient water circulation and stunning water clarity. Max-Flo Solids Handling Waterfall & Filter Pump features: The Laguna Max-FLO water pump has been designed and created with pondkeepers in mind, this has resulted in the production of top quality and highly efficient pond pump. The hexagonal angled and ribbed pattern allows for a strong drop resistance casing whilst also allowing water to flow easily through even when debris naturally gets sucked onto the casing. Energy efficiency is a priority and these pumps have been designed to give the greatest possible output whilst consuming the least amount of energy, against like for like products the energy savings often pay for the cost of the pump. The pumps also have very few moving parts, resulting in minimal maintenance and need for spare parts. Laguna has created its pumps to not only have coloured coded parts allowing for easy maintenance but also a tool-free maintenance experience. The Max Flo, works by drawing in a large volume of water and outputting it towards the Pressure-Flo filter. It also acts as the initial stage of filtering by catching large pieces of debris before they enter the main body of the filter resulting in less maintenance. Powered by European-engineers who quality check each product at every stage of manufacture. Pressure-Flo Pressurised Pond Filter System features: The Laguna Pressure-Flo has a wide range of benefits resulting in a top quality product that helps pondkeepers enjoy the hobby. These benefits include a unique water vortex filtering process, mechanical filtration to remove small particles, BioRock for biological filtering and a UV bulb to remove evidence of green water. With this highly effective unique vortex filtering method pushes water down and through the filter sponge trapping all the small particles, this vortex process does, however, allow for a build-up of particles on the outside of the sponges. Laguna has developed a user-friendly backwash system that reverses the vortex and uses two internal blades that clean the sponges, this wastewater can then be used as a natural fertilised water packed with nutrients that will help your surrounding garden grow. The filter comes equipped with a cleaning indicator that takes the guesswork out of maintenance intervals. The Pressure-Flo, works by drawing water in from the Max Flo. Using the Laguna unique vortex filtering method the water is then pushed down through the filter sponges to the base of the canister body. It is then drawn back up past the UV bulb to break down algae and stop green water for occurring. The 3 largest models include a 3rd biological filtering stage that helps with the break down of ammonia. The output of filtered water can be piped to a flowing waterfall.
