Product Description

The first Fender Telecasters featured a pickup switch with a round tip - the barrel switch tip, which was replaced in 1954 by the Top Hat type. Many vintage lovers prefer the barrel tip because of its authentic look. This black synthetic tip has a lower profile than the Top Hat and is a lot thicker. The barrel type tip is a common sight on the Fender No-caster, Broadcaster and many lap steel guitars from the '40s and '50s.
