The Ordinary’s Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 provides instant plumping hydration to give softer, smoother, healthy-looking skin. This formulation contains 5 forms of hyaluronic acid, which helps deliver potent hydration. Hyaluronic acid is a humectant found naturally in the skin where it binds to water. The forms included are low-, medium- and high-molecular-weight molecules, a HA crosspolymer, and hydrolyzed HA. The formulation also contains ceramides to help keep moisture locked in. Ceramides are lipids (fatty molecules) found naturally in the skin that help nourish the skin barrier to keep the skin protected and hydrated.
