Obviously, we weren't there, so we can't know for sure, but it looked like a time where optimism was high, and while life had setbacks, it also had its perks. When we picture the 1920's, we picture life like an old-timey movie. Everything cuts to black and white, and maybe it's a silent film too. Cue the music! The scene pans in: It's us, walking through the doors of a swanky speakeasy. We walk up to the bar and ask the bartender for a drink. Whiskey, neat.
