Bollinger Golden/Black Special Cuvee Magnum, 1.5 L Large

Like all Champagne Bollinger’s Special Cuvee is tremendous from magnum. If there is more than 6 people drinking then this is the way forward. A golden colour, distinctive of black grape varieties with very fine bubbles. This delicious Champagne has a beautiful aromatic complexity; ripe fruit and spicy aromas and hints of roasted apples, apple compote and peaches. A subtle combination of structure, length and vivacity; bubbles like velvet; pear, brioche and spicy aromas, notes of fresh walnut. The House of Champagne Bollinger was founded in 1829 in the village of Aÿ, in the heart of the Cham-pagne region. Famous for its use of Pinot Noir and oak ageing techniques, the Bollinger wines are defined as much by the vines and the terroir as they are by the art of their blending and vi-nification. Sustainability and organic principles are key to the House’s philosophy, with Bollinger the first Champagne House to be awarded the Haute Valeur Environmentale certification. The quality and quest for perfection for which Bollinger is renowned was recognised by the Court of England when, in 1884, the House was the first in Champagne to be awarded a Royal Warrant, which it has held ever since. Bollinger also has several iconic partnerships. In particular, as the preferred champagne of James Bond, celebrating 40 years of the partnership in 2019. The House is also the official champagne supplier of England Rugby and supports the Bollinger Everyman Wodehouse Prize, an annual literary award for comic writing. Stunning non vintage Champagne that is very well known to some and constantly picking up new fans.
