Oase FilterAction Nitrate Remover Size: 60g

Product Description

Oase AquariumActiv FilterAction Nitrate Remover is the ideal way to naturally reduce nitrate levels in any freshwater or saltwater aquarium. The granulate provides a supplementary food source for nitrate-reducing bacteria Denitrifying bacteria are responsible for removing nitrate. These conditions cannot be created in conventional filters, which is why there is often too much nitrate in the water. The negative consequences are increased algae growth and the inhabitants of the aquarium being increasingly susceptible to disease. FilterAction Nitrate Remover is the ideal solution for naturally reducing nitrate levels in aquariums. The patented filter medium can form biofilms - i.e. bacterial layers with a certain depth - that have oxygen-containing and oxygen-free zones. 100g of FilterAction Nitrate Remover additionally removes up to 30g of nitrate and contributes to a better aquarium water quality in the long term. Water does not need to be changed as often, which reduces stress for the aquarium inhabitants. FilterAction Nitrate Remover also increases the carbonate hardness of the water. The Oase AquariumActiv range has been specifically developed with a 360 approach to modern aquarium water treatment. The AquariumActiv range of treatments meets the requirements for aquarium care and maintenance for a healthy, clear and above all animal-friendly water for lively colourful fish and invertebrates and lush healthy aquarium plants. Application: Place the mesh bag in the filter. Depending on the content of nitrate and aquarium volume, Nitrate Remover will fully degrade over time. Replace every 6 months. Dosage: 120g per 200L of aquarium water Long-term action against nitrate Co-substrate and microbiological colonisation surface in one Can be placed directly in the filter thanks to ready-to-use mesh bag Reduces required water changes Increases the carbonate hardness and fully degrades Less stress for fish Suitable for both freshwater and saltwater aquariums Available sizes: 60g & 120g
