What is HYCOSAN PLUS? HYCOSAN PLUS is a sterile preservative-free solution for ocular use. Composition: 1 ml HYCOSAN PLUS contains 1 mg sodium hyaluronate, dexpanthenol, citric acid anhydrous, sodium citrate and water for injections. What is HYCOSAN PLUS used for? For lubrication that can support the healing of a damaged surface of the eye due to dry eyes or surgical procedures. When should HYCOSAN PLUS be used? For regeneration and maintenance of healthy eyes the ocular surface â cornea and conjunctiva â has to be continuously wet. Ideally this is provided by our tears. However, some people have poor quality tear film or an insufficient volume of tears.
