Product Description

The Eibach Sportline Lowering Spring Kit goes one step further than Eibach's Pro-Kit Lowering springs, offering a lower, stiffer spring for the ultimate in fast-road handling. These springs are normally 45-50mm lower than the stock suspension on the car. Going lower and firmer on the spring offers sportier handling and better handling in corners. The ride will be firmer, but should still be smooth provided these are paired with the right kind of damper.Lower stiffer springFlatter handlingSportier feelEibach's Sportline Lowering Kits offer most of the same benefits as their Pro-Kit lowering springs but turned up to 11. For drivers who want to push the performance of their suspension set-up that bit further, these are lower and firmer than the Pro-Kit.Lowering your car doesn't just look cool. It lowers the centre of gravity which reduces body roll during cornering. Cornering flatter is beneficial because it keeps the inside wheels in better contact with the road, which offers a better grip.Stiffer rate springs will also help keep your tyres in better contact with the road surface offering enhanced grip during braking and acceleration.Going that bit lower and stiffer shifts the balance towards sportier handling, although we still wouldn't expect these to be uncomfortable.Sportline kits are TUV tested with standard shock absorbers in new condition, but we'd expect them to feel a little bouncy and firm with standard equipment, particularly if your shocks are old and worn. Upgrading to a short stroke shock absorber designed for lowering springs like a Bilstein B8 is something we would normally recommend when going this low. A firmer damper will better control the uprated spring keeping rebound smooth. You can double up on the handling improvements by fitting uprated anti-roll bars along with springs. Both are designed to reduce body roll. Please note - The kits for some vehicles only include 2 springs. This is generally because the suspension on one axle does not use coil springs. The notes or subtitles of the kit should usually note when this is the case. These Lowering Springs come with a 5-year warranty.Lowering amounts may vary for a special edition or sports models where lowering has already been applied at the factory.
