Similar with heating tray or pan, this ceramic firing vessel is suitable for carbon-firing, and is best used for sintering metal clays like bronze clay, copper clay, PMC PRO and Accent Silver. This tray measures about 80mm in width with a depth of 100mm and height of 45mm. To start with, place 10mm of activated carbon in the vessel. Then, place your finished PMC creations on top of the carbon, and pour more carbon on top of your art pieces covering it completely without the carbon going higher than the rim of the tray. Next, a foil or a lid can be used to secure the top, and you're ready for sintering. Kindly follow the instructions for sintering PMC products to know the correct firing temperature and time. Ash deposits will build up on activated carbon every two to three firings. To clean those deposits, pour the activated carbon from one container to another, from a height of a few centimeters. You can do these for about two or three times, and let the air carry away the dust particles. Also, these methods work best when done outside.Please note that this ceramic firing vessel can withstand temperatures around 1250 degrees Celsius.

Refunds
