A superb 1/72 diecast Luftwaffe Focke-Wulf FW190D-9 German WWII fighter of JG 6, flown by Gerhard Barkhorn, Germany 1945.
It is from a De Agostini series of World War 2 aircraft. The models & stands are the same as those released under the IXO brand some years ago, so I'm pretty sure that this series have been made by IXO for De Agostini.
The plane is predominantly made from metal & has many small detail accessories, & inter-changeable undercarriage parts.
The model measures 5\"" (125mm) in length & has a wingspan of just over 6\"" (152mm).
It is presented in a vac-form \""sandwich\"" & outer card box & is new, mint & boxed.
Gerhard Barkhorn is the second-highest scoring ace in history, his 301 victories surpassed only by the 352 of his fellow Jagd Geschwader (Hunting Wing) 52 officer, rival and close friend Erich Hartmann. Barkhorn was a generous man who lived and fought chivalrously. As great an authority as Johannes Steinhoff considered Barkhor.

Refunds
