Product Description

The Korg Modwave MK2 is a modern wavetable synthesizer that continues the legacy of the legendary DW-8000 synthesizer. It offers incredibly deep wavetable oscillators, beautiful filters, wildly flexible modulation, sophisticated pattern sequencing and macro controls.Wavetable oscillatorsModwave MK2 has two full wavetable oscillators, each with up to 64 waveforms. These waveforms are a combination of digital and analog waveforms, allowing a wide variety of sounds to be created. You can combine them to create unique sounds or use them to create realistic instrument sounds or synthesizer sounds.FiltersModwave MK2 has a dozen types of stereo filters, including the aggressive MS-20, the sweet Polysix and the newly improved Multi Filter. Filters allow you to shape and cultivate the sound. You can use them to soften the sound, to emphasize certain frequencies or to create distinctive sound effects.ModulationThe Modwave MK2 has a massively flexible modulation system with four triggered envelopes, five LFOs, two modulation processors and two keyboard tracking generators. Modulation allows you to animate almost any synth parameter. You can use it to create dynamic and evolving sounds, or to create effective sound effects.Pattern sequencingModwave MK2 has a sophisticated pattern sequencer that allows you to create complex and evolving phrases. Pattern sequencer has 16 steps, each step has its own timing, height, shape and other parameters. You can use it to create the foundation for a song or to create effective sequences.Macro driversThe Modwave MK2 has four programmable macro controls that allow you to customize the sound quickly and easily. You can use these controls to control almost any synthesizer parameter.ModulationTriggered envelopes are activated when a note or chord is played. They can be used to control various parameters such as height, shape, volume or filtering.LFOs (Low-Frequency Oscillator) are low-frequency generators that are used to generate pulses or waves. They can be used to control various parameters such as height, shape, volume or filtering.Modulation processors allow you to transform modulation signals using various effects such as quantization, smoothing, warping and more.Keyboard tracking generators allow you to control different synthesizer parameters depending on the pitch of your playing.Pattern sequencingModwave MK2 has a sophisticated pattern sequencer that allows you to create complex and evolving phrases. Pattern sequencer has 16 steps, each step has its own timing, height, shape and other parameters. You can use it to create the foundation for a song or to create effective sequences.Modwave MK2 also has other features such as Kaoss Physics, which allows you to control the synthesizer with hand movements, and Motion Sequencing 2.0, which allows you to create organic, constantly changing sounds.Kaoss Physics is a module that allows you to control the synthesizer using hand movements.
