This 100 mm (4âł) continuously-running extractor fan is designed for bathrooms, toilets, utility rooms and other indoor wet zones. It features a low-voltage (12 V SELV) motor, meaning the transformer is separate and the fan itself is safe for mounting in Zone 1 around baths/showers. The IP rating is IPX7 for the fan unit, making it exceptionally well-protected against water ingress compared to ordinary fans.. In normal running mode the fan operates at a low âtrickleâ flow of around 6 l/s, and a higher intermediate trickle of around 9 l/s; when a humidistat detects excess moisture (or a pull-cord is used) the fan boosts up to around 15 l/s (â54 mÂł/h). The power consumption is extremely lowâon the trickle speed it consumes only about 1.4 W and noise as little as ~10.8 dB(A), while in boost mode it draws only around 2.4 W and emits around ~25 dB(A) at 3 m..
