What type of pain can Paramol be used for? Paramol can be used to ease many types of pain and other symptoms. These include (but are not limited to): Headaches Migraines Toothache Period pain Neuralgia Back ache Muscle pains How do I take Paramol tablets? Paramol tablets need to be taken orally. Contact your doctor when experiencing such symptoms. Paramol Tablets should be taken during or after meals. Adults and adolescents 16 years old and over: Take one or two tablets every four to six hours. Children aged 10-15 – take 1 tablet every 4-6 hours when needed. DO NOT TAKE MORE THAN 4 DOSES IN A 24 HOUR PERIOD. When should I NOT take Paramol? Paramol tablets should not be taken if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Consult your pharmacist or doctor before taking this product if you suffer from thyroid, kidney or liver problems, or have asthma or breathing difficulties If you suffer from any of the following conditions, please speak to your GP before taking Paracetamol: Liver problems Kidney problems Alcohol dependency Thyroid problems Asthma If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, please contact your GP before taking Paramol.
