Agapanthus Stardust (9cm)

Agapanthus ‘Stardust’ also known as African Lily is a bright cultivar with beautiful Summer colours. A deciduous perennial with clump-forming, deep green strap-shaped leaves that surround tall stalks which rise high above the foliage carrying funnel-shaped or star-shaped deep violet-blue flowers which appear in rounded clusters during the Summer and sometimes lasting into the early Autumn months. A great choice for enhancing borders with some colour or for patio containers. Plant in moist, well-drained soil and keep in full sun for the best flower colour. Quite hardy but should be kept sheltered from high winds and harsh Winter frosts. Mulch well to help protect during the colder months. Please Note: When purchasing plants please consider that each live item is unique and may therefore differ from the images shown, which are for illustration purposes only. Ongoing plant maintenance within our nursery is essential, meaning some lines are pruned back at certain times of the year to encourage new growth. Pot Size: 9cm Plant Height (Including Pot): 10 - 20cm Characteristics: Compact deciduous perennial with dark green foliage and tall stems bearing violet-blue flowers. Growth & Spread: Ultimate height and spread of 0.2 - 0.5m. Flourishing Season: Clusters of rich violet-blue flowers blooming from mid to late Summer. Water & Maintenance: Plant in moist, well-drained fertile soil. Grows best in full sun. Requires shelter and protection from Winter cold.
