Crystal Palace 1991 ZDS Final Retro Football Shirt

Commemorate Palaces bestever season with the Score Draw Crystal Palace 1991 ZDS Final Bukta Shirt in RedBlue, a throwback home jersey that allows you to relive past glory. Based on the kit used for the 199091 season, the 1991 Crystal Palace home shirt was worn by club legends Mark Bright, John Salako, Gareth Southgate, Geoff Thomas and Ian Wright as Palace rose to the pinnacle of English football. Due in part to their fantastic home form, the club surprisingly found themselves all the way up in third place in the First Division by early December, and they managed to hold their position just behind Arsenal and Liverpool all the way to the end of the season. 199091 produced some of the clubs most iconic results. A finalday 30 home win over Manchester United rounded off the league season perfectly, but a 20 away win that knocked rivals Brighton out of the Full Members Cup Z. D. S. Cup is also fondly remembered amongst the Selhurst Park faithful. Following that win over Brighton, Palace went on to defeat Luton Town and Norwich City to see themselves through to the cup final against Everton. An initially tight game was ignited with a thudding Geoff Thomas header in from a corner, which was then quickly responded to just 2 minutes later with a goal from the everdangerous Robert Warzycha. In extra time, star player Ian Wright latched on to a long ball and easily slid the ball past the keeper to put Palace ahead again, and a goal from John Salako and another from Wright sealed the cup win and the biggest moment in the clubs history.
