CORGI 1:36 SCALE TX1 TAXI UNION JACK WRAPPED GS85909 + LONDON CAB KNOWLEDGE BOOK
The venerable FX4 Black Cab was taken as \""part of the furniture\"" for many of us through childhood and well into adult life. It was in production for almost 40 yrs with the classic external shape left largely unchanged throughout that time. Â
Production ended in the mid 90's to make way for the model we feature here, the TX1. Very much produced in the decade of Retro, they got it just about right with the TX1 creating a smooth, attractive retro shape which retained a look together with the practical aspects of the old design. It was in good company as Mini had gone down that route along with VW's Beetle and Jaguar's S Type & XJ.Â
Corgi Toys were soon to produce the model and this example from the Year 2012 is black with the lower half \""wrapped\"" in the Union Jack.Corgi ref GS85909 at 1:36 scale it was initially seen more as a kid's toy but the various liveries & variations soon found favour with collectors.
Also included is a very interesting little book w.

Refunds
