Product Description

The Wrong Shop Poster Multicoloured Paper. Dimensions: 60 x 60 cm. Step inside The Wrong Shop art gallery: a comprehensive selection of exclusive posters that will appeal to fans of graphic design and visual arts! Created by English designer Sebastian Wrong, the brand creates drawings and prints by influential artists, designers and architects. These exceptional-quality prints are truly affordable works of art. The four Bas Relief prints are photographic reproductions printed on premium paper, depicting ceramic reliefs created by Ronan in 2021. These prints capture the intense colours, textures and composition of this body of work. These prints succeed in transforming these 3D art pieces into a 2D image with a real sense of depth and physicality. Like clay shelves holding up original versions of literary works, the glazed ceramic bas-reliefs by Ronan Bouroullec create a new alphabet, inspired by Kazimir Malevitch and his suprematist abstraction. Deconstructed and sharp design shapes, this new experimental work from Ronan Bouroullec invents a new language. The constantly balanced shapes defy gravity with a play of verticality. These 3D aspects are not entirely accurate: one has an overhanging edge, another has an off-centred, ready-to-roll circle, and another has a mass that could tip over. The traces of tools and unpredictable aspects created by the baking add to the minimalist aesthetic. The clay stays close to its natural and tactile state, and its edges are deliberately sharp and abrupt. Designed individually before baking, the coloured and glazed shapes have then been arranged to form different structures. FRAME NOT INCLUDED.
