Thanks to the high quality components used, minimal signal is lost when the coupler is used and the option of using a male to male cable is available without having to purchase both.What can it be used for?This cable has lots of different uses, it can be used to extend a subwoofer cable, composite video cable or a digital coaxial cable. All these different types of connections have RCA connections and allow this cable to be run between them for a good quality signal. Digital Coaxial Connection - Normally used between an audio/video device (CD/DVD player) and an amplifier.Subwoofer Connection - Normally used between an amplifier and a subwoofer. Ordinary audio cables aren't designed to handle the complex low frequencies a subwoofer delivers where as our cable has been designed with this in mind. Composite Connection - Normally used for running a composite video signal (yellow connection) between a source device (DVD player) to a TV. If you require audio as well, a 3 RCA cable would need to be used. Technical Information: Shielding - The conducting cores are made from oxygen free pure copper conductors which further enhance signal quality. This cable is fully shielded with gas injected dielectric insulation around the conducting cores to eliminate radio frequency (RF) and Electromagnetic (EM) interference.Gold Plated - Solid metal alloy with a 24 carat gold plating for a high quality connection to an RCA port. 75 Ohm Cable - Any distortions arising from unmatched impedances in the cable are eradicated using dielectric material to maintain the 75 ohm impedance. Refunds
