The
ideal bromine level for a spa or hot tub is 4ppm (parts per million).
Before dosing your spa or tub, make sure you know the water volume in
litres
As a guide the initial dose for a 1000 litre spa is 25gm
Subsequent dose is 3gm per 1000 litres of water to raise the bromin elevel by approximately 1ppm
Sprinkle
the bromine granules directly into the spa water if the temperature is above 23 degrees C whilst running the
circulation pump, test the bromine level after 15 minutes and add more
if required.If spa water is below 23 C dissolve in a clean bucket of warm tap water first before adding to the spa water.
