Wholefood Earth Brown Lentils 3 kg | GMO Free | Natural | High Fibre | High Protein

✔ A WORLD OF GOODNESS: In a world full of fad diets, quick bites, and intricate recipes, don’t forget about the wonders of simple, nourishing food. We actively seek sustainable sources for our goods, asking our suppliers the tough questions that we know matter to our customers and making sure all our products are 100% GMO-Free. We follow strict hygiene processes to provide the best quality ingredients and have achieved a maximum of 5 Start food hygiene ratings. ✔ Brown Lentils: The lentil plant (Lens Culinaris) is one of our oldest food sources, hailing from Asia and North Africa. There are various types of lentils, but Brown, Red, Green, and Yellow lentils are the most widely used in cooking. Don't be misled, the last two are Split peas, a form of "Field Pea," and are sometimes chevaled as lentils. These "peas" are hulled and then split in half along their natural seam, allowing for quicker cooking and obviating the need for pre-soaking. ✔ HIGH-QUALITY INGREDIENTS: Brown lentils are high in protein and fibre, and when cooked completely, they become wonderfully creamy. Lentils are an essential component in vegan and vegetarian diets when protein intake needs to be controlled because only one legume has a greater protein content than lentils: the soybean. Brown lentils are natural, GMO-free, and vegan-friendly. ✔ INSTRUCTION FOR USE: To Cook: Allow approximately 40g of lentils per 80g cooked serving. Wash in 3-4 changes of clean water. Soak in enough water to cover for at least 15-20 mins. Replace water with fresh water, and bring to a boil for at least 10 minutes. Simmer for 30 mins or until tender. ✔ JUST THE GOOD STUFF / FULLY RECYCLABLE PACKAGING: We believe that good food shouldn’t cost the earth, as such, sustainability matters to us dearly. That’s why we work tirelessly to find sustainable solutions throughout our business. We rolled out all-new 100% recyclable packaging on Wholefood Earth products. The new packaging is apt for kerbside recycling. ✔ OUR STORY: Thank you for knowing It's what's on the inside that counts. For wanting a future without toxins in the food your children eat. For insisting on the accountability that traces food back to its source. For protecting the biodiversity that nurtures animal habitats and makes crops thrive. And, from everyone here at Wholefood Earth, thank you for using your buying power to make meaningful, informed choices that will continue to nourish our people and our planet today, tomorrow, and forever. We're here for a healthier, sustainable, and wholesome earth.
