Loops Black 100M Outdoor Garden Speaker Wire Cable 1.5Mm² Stranded Cca Flex Reel 100V

PLEASE NOTE IF THIS CABLE IS PURCAHSED IN LENGTHS OF 25m or 50m, IT MAY NOT BE SUPPLIED ON A REEL. What can it be used for? You may use speaker cable to attach your amplifier to your speakers but it can also be used for other applications such as door intercom systems. This cable has a thick and flexible rubber sheath meaning it can be used for 8 Ohm Hi-Fi installations and 100V installations (rated up to 300V) alike. Perfect for BBQs, garden parties and pub beer gardens where this cable needs to be installed permanently in outdoor environments. Specification: 48 Strands with a 0.2mm diameter per strand.Area per core = 1.5mm dia CCA Copper Clad AluminiumDouble InsulatedExternal diameter of 7.5mm (Total)UV Resistant and thick outer sheath makes this cable rated for outdoor use. Overview: A speaker cable is subject to high currents and voltages (completely different to signals that interconnect cables have to deal with) and therefore has to be designed properly in order to prevent the signal being lost or distorted. Speaker cable is the last line in the chain before the sound is produced, therefore it is essential the whole signal is transferred intact as you cannot recover it later. This speaker cable has tight winding copper clad aluminium conductor and a UV resistant and thick outer sheath. The intention of better quality speaker cable is to give the signal room to breathe so the signal can pass freely through the cable. The outcome is deeper bass, a smoother midrange, cleaner highs and a wider sound stage, giving your speakers the ability to play sound as it was meant to be heard and in some cases the difference in sound when using good quality speaker cable is almost like buying new speakers. Depending on the power of your amp, you may require thicker speaker cable (higher contact area). We stock a wide range of speaker cable so please view our shop, if you require help, then please give us a call. An amplifier is constantly outputting power, in order for it to do this efficiently with less resistance, speaker cable that matches your system should be used. How to Use: dia Speaker cable should be inserted into amplifiers and speakers, then secured. The polarity also needs to be checked, this is where the positive and positive are connected together and the negative and negative are connected together. Either colour of core can be used for positive or negative connections, just make sure that they match at both the amplifier and speaker. Different Speakers have different means of attaching speaker cable. Your speakers may have binding posts, spring clips, screw terminals or require banana plugs. We sell banana plugs perfect for this cable and other cables in our range, please search our shop. If you are unsure of anything above, please contact us for technical support free of charge.
