Osteospermum Hardy Tresco Purple has bold daisy like flowers that open in the morning when the sun rises. This variety is versatile and resilient and thrives well in hot and dry conditions. With vibrant pink blooms this Osteospermum is a great week suppressant with its spreading habit. This African Daisy is easy to grow and will add a vibrant summer colour to any garden border. Pot up hardy osteospermum daisies and grow them on in frost free conditions until plants are well grown. When plants are well developed and all risk of frost has passed, gradually acclimatise them to outdoor conditions over 7 to 10 days before planting them outdoors into borders and patio containers. Grow osteospermum plants in any well drained soil in a warm, sheltered position in full sun. African Daisies dislike cold wet soils. Improve heavy soil prior to planting by adding plenty of coarse grit. Feed and water osteospermum plants regularly throughout the growing season.
