These lovely Japanese Barberry shrubs are easy to care for and manage and make great border or specimen plants. The upright stems carry bright, golden-yellow leaves throughout the Spring and Summer months before gaining hues of orange and red come Autumn. A great choice to add some brightness and colour to any area. Plant in moist, well-drained soil. A hardy and cold tolerant species that is generally low maintenance. Requires minimal pruning and should not grow out of control. Cut older stems to allow fresh growth.
