Part of the Lamiaceae family, the tree will produce narrow, toothed/lobed leaves in Springtime which will be accompanied by little highly-fragrant, tubular flowers with dense spikes during Summer. They are ideal to situate in small gardens, patios or flower beds and borders. 'Munstead' trees have a compact and bushy habit so are perfect to plant and grow in well-drained, moist soils - such as sand, chalk or loam based. Make sure to position the tree in a full sun but sheltered area to give them the best opportunity to thrive.
