A variety of the popular Tree Mallow species, the âSilver Barnsleyâ is quite similar to other species in terms of care and growth but differs from them with its interesting and distinctive foliage. The ovate, lobed silver-green leaves are rough with grey âhairâ on the undersides of the leaves, along with loose panicles of pink-white, slightly funnelled flowers with pink-red centres in the Spring and Summer which provide eye-catching displays. Grows best in light, well-drained soils in full sun. Plant in a sheltered position away from drying winds and provide some protection from frost, such as mulch fleece or hessian. If grown potted it may be prudent to keep under glass in Winter. Refunds
