Prunus 'Kanzan' is a beautiful ornamental tree that has gorgeous coppery-brown foliage which grows in a spherical shape. During Spring and Summer, they will bloom deep purplish-pink flowers that will brighten up your patio, border, mixed containers and small garden - making it very pleasing to the eye. This tree is trained as a straight 'lollipop stem' variety and would look great in a small garden or patio. From the Rosaceae family, this tree prefers moist, well-drained, organically rich soil - ideal for clay, loam, sandy, or chalky soils. Perfect for planting in locations that get plenty of sun but will do just as well in partial shade, it will require some shelter during winter. Once settled into their new environment, this prunus tree will become fairly low maintenance and need minimal pruning.
