Hibiscus French Lavender Chiffon is a wonderful, deciduous, tough and tolerant, upright shrub with deeply lobed leaves. From mid-summer into autumn it will produce its exotic-looking flowers which are a beautiful shade of lavender with deep maroon blotches at the base of each petal and giving the overall colouring a bit of depth. This much admired hibiscus variety is best planted either in a container or in a prominent sheltered position where it can be viewed for best effect. Very low maintenance and once established it requires little if any regular pruning. Plant this very pretty variety in a wind sheltered location where it will get full or partial sun. It grows best in neutral to slightly acidic soils and water well at the time of planting.
