Savory Winter is a small, perennial garden herb with deciduous, dark green foliage. In summer, small purple flowers bloom in dense spikes, creating a striking contrast with the leaves. This hardy herb has a strong, peppery flavour with hints of marjoram, thyme and mint. The flavour will weaken with cooking time, so for maximum flavour should be added at the end of cooking. Plant Savory Winter in moist, loamy soil and in full sun. This herb is an excellent salt and pepper substitute, and adds a beautiful warmth to stuffing, sauces and stews. Refunds
