Product Description

Thalictrum Little Pinkie is a dwarf variety with small, rounded, deep green leaves. In early summer flowers bloom on top of tall, slender stems. The blooms have a light, airy appearance, resembling dark pink balls of cloud. These bee friendly plants are irresistible to pollinators, attracting butterflies, birds and beneficial insects to the garden. Thalictrum Little Pinkie is a herbaceous perennial and, as such, dies back beneath the ground in late autumn before sprouting again in spring. It ideal for planting towards the front of borders and is well suited to informal or cottage gardens. With its small stature and compact habit, thalictrum little pinkie is ideal for container garden and is well-suited to growing in patio pots. It also makes a long-lasting cut flower, adding colour and texture to indoor flower displays. Please Note: When purchasing plants, please consider that each live item is unique and may therefore differ from the images shown, which are for illustration purposes only. The plant will be supplied in a growers pot. Depending on season, some plants may be pruned back to encourage growth and deciduous plants may arrive without leaves. Characteristics: A low-maintenance, compact herbaceous perennial forming a clump of dense foliage. Clusters of airy pink summer flowers bloom on tall, slender stems. Growth and Spread: Ultimate height of up to 50cm and spread of up to 25cm. Care and Maintenance: Plant thalictrum little pinkie in a sheltered spot in partial or dappled shade. Grow in fertile, moist, well-drained soil and water regularly, especially during dry spells. Cut back spent flower stems in autumn or spring, before new growth emerges. Period of Interest: Foliage interest from spring to autumn. Flowers in June and July.
