I bought this DVD set expecting to hate it, I am an enormous

fan of Herges original comics and had been told that these 60s/70s

adaptations were awful. I had been sorely dissapointed with the 90s

television series which I had been told was definitive (which it was not

at all, it had awful voice acting, barely any of the original

Herge/Cooper/Turner dialogue and many jokes and plot twists cut out).

Therefore I decided to give this box set a try, expecting to be again

dissapointed. I was surprised to find that I wasn't.

I started

with The Calculus Affair which was in fact the final series of

Belvisions 1960s \""Herges Adventures of Tintin\"" television series. It had

a different voice cast to the rest of the series (unfortunately not

included on the DVD). The original voice cast was quite good, but this

one was better. However th.
