Barti Spiced Rum (70cl), Small Batch Caribbean Spiced Rum Infused with Pembrokeshire Seaweed, Vegan-friendly, 35% ABV

Barti Spiced Rum is punching above its weight in the world of spiced rum, brimming with vibrant flavours all married together with a delicate seaweed infusion which makes the spirit superbly smooth. Think creamy vanilla, with notes of clove and cinnamon, over a sweet citrus finish. Barti Spiced Rum was established in Pembrokeshire, West Wales, in 2018. A once “side project” of Café Mor (The Pembrokeshire Beach Food Company), the multi award-winning street food vendor, dripping in national awards for its delicious and unusual seaweed filled menu. The people at Café Mor wanted to make the best spiced rum out there and so began using wild-growing laver seaweed, foraged from the Welsh coast and infused alongside the medley of other delicious flavours, in an expertly made Caribbean rum, to create our unique seaweed spirit drink. Named after Barti Ddu (Black Bart) a famous, forward thinking, Welsh pirate from Pembrokeshire, Barti takes seriously the mantra “make good of the hand you are dealt”. Barti Ddu (Ddu is pronounced “thee”) is believed to have written the famous pirate code, introducing the concept of democracy and equality amongst all on board his ship. Locally sourced ingredients and Made In Wales, Barti seaweed rum is as unique and memorable as a West Wales sunset. Smooth enough to sip, but punchy enough to stand up in a mixer, Barti Rum can be enjoyed however you wish.
