This 1U vented shelf can be used for many purposes and is 300mm deep which is deep enough to house most sound/networking equipment. Most cheaper shelves are either 200mm or even 180mm deep which limit their use as you dont want your equipment hanging of the back of the shelf with the risk of it falling off.
