This is the Balanced version of the Sovtek 7025/12AX7 and is designed to go in the phase splitter version of the amp.
A Balanced valve is used to ensure the power valves receive an equal signal. The phase inverter position is the last one in the preamp chain and is nearly always the furthest from the guitar input jack.
The Sovtek 7025/12AX7WA preamp valve can be found in a huge number of amplifiers. It is the favourite of many amplifier manufacturers including Fender who re-brand it as their Balanced Groove Tube GT-12AX7R.
This valve will be found in the Fender Blues Junior and the Hot Rod Deluxe. It has a slightly lower gain than the 12AX7WC so is perfectly suited for this kind of amp. If your Hot Rod Deluxe volume is a bit \u201Call or nothing\u201D this is the valve for you rather than other makes which can be simply too hot for this amp.

Refunds
