Product Description

Light emitting diodes LED selection mix of colours and sizes approx 50 pieces

This bag contains LEDs of different colours and sizes. All LEDs run with a current of 10 mA or less. Each LED has to be set into operation by using a series resistor, which limits-according to the operating voltage- the current to 10 mA or less. The LEDs can only be used with DC current. The image provided is a good indication of the selection of LEDs you should get but each bag will be different.

This pack contains random LED colours, shapes and sizes therefore you will need to use a test rig to find out the exact colours of the clear LEDs. A simple 1K resistor with a 9V supply should be fine. Some of the colours included are white, warm white, yellow, red, blue, green, pink UV and amber.

As a guide the following is generally a good indication of voltage range.

  • Red approx. 1.6-1.8 V
  • Green approx. 2.1-2.5 V
  • Yellow approx. 1.8-2V V
  • Super Bright Blue, white and UV. 3.2-3.6 V
