How To: Apply one coat of Prep to your nails first to dry them and eliminate any oils. To achieve a long-lasting finish, apply a coat of primer to aid in the bonding of the natural nail. Prepare the gel tips by sizing them to each finger's nail bed. (To ensure a perfect fit, simply file along the edges of the gel tip extension that will come into touch with your cuticle.) Remove the shine from the inside of the gel tip that will come into touch with your natural nail with an e-file. Apply a little layer of liquid Builder Gel to your nails to keep them in place for up to three weeks. Cure your fingernails for up to 30 seconds. Apply the same Builder gel underneath the gel tip. Only use this gel on the portion of the tip that will come into contact with your natural nail. To apply the nail extension, simply press the gel tip firmly on the natural nail with your thumb from the cuticle to the free edge, ensuring that any air bubbles are removed. Before moving on to the following step, be sure there are no air bubbles. Cure your nails for a total of ten seconds. To do so, place your alternate thumb over the nail where you just applied your tip to secure it and cure it. You can either stop here or add colour now that your gel tips are glued to your nails. Remove the gloss from the surface of your gel tips with a hand file if you wish to add colour. After you've prepped your nail tip, apply two thin coats of your favourite Gel Polish and cure each for 30 seconds. To complete the look, apply the Gel Top Coat and cure for 60 seconds to seal and protect your manicure.
