RED JASMINE - Jasminum beesianum is a moderately fast growing semi-evergreen climber that produces carmine red to pink flowers during the months of June and July above glossy, mid-green leaves. The fabulously fragrant flowers are followed by rich black berries that last well into the winter. It is perfect to train up a sheltered, sunny wall, fence, trellis or archway.GROWING CONDITIONS - For best results, grow Jasminum beesianum in full sun, but can cope with semi-shade in moist, well draining soil. When planting choose a sheltered spot as this prevents the fragrance being carried away by winds. This jasmine is frost hardy but may need some protection during harsh winters.
