Product Description

Since 1855, the House of Rozès has always produced its wines with the greatest care. Rozès Port, result of the blending of the best wines of the Port wine delimited area, is aged with both zeal and patience, in oak casks, in our cellars of Vila Nova de Gaia and of the Douro Valley. Ever since its creation, the House of Rozès has always been at the crossroads of tradition and innovation. The great quality of Rozès Ports is the expression of its knowhow.Wine of Portugal"The 2010 Late Bottled Vintage Port is an unoaked, unfiltered field blend in at 100 grams per liter of residual sugar. It was bottled in 2014. This may not be the most concentrated LBV you'll stumble across as its mid-palate does lean a bit to the lighter side, but it is beautifully structured, balanced and shows the same attention to focus, precision and ageworthiness as the 1995 that is also reviewd this issue. By Day 3, the expressive fruit makes it rather delicious, too. This is a bit compact, but it is also mostly what you want from a traditional LBV. It should improve in the cellar, hold nicely for some time and reward aging. The LBVs here a just lovely: beautifully balanced, elegan and persistent. These are classic LBVs that are pleasure to drink young or aged." Mark Squires (source: eRobertParker.com)Rating: 90/100Maturity: 2015-2034
