Hay Matin Flush Mount 500 Ceiling Light Yellow

Ceiling lamp Matin with round pleated shade A contemporary and at the same time a poetic design and visual delicacy with physical robustness - all this combines the designer Inga Sempé in the ceiling lamp Matin, a round lamp with an enchanting pleated shade made of cotton, applied to a PVC film. French designer Inga Sempé lives and works in Paris and has already won several awards. In 2003 she received the Grand Design Prize of the City of Paris, and in 2007 she won the Red Dot Design Award for her Moël upholstered furniture. Many of her lamps have shades reminiscent of fans, allowing a varied interplay of light and shadow, including the Matin series of lamps she designed for Danish manufacturer HAY. Her works are known for a particularly tactile nature, a special lightness and a strong personality. The frame of the ceiling lamp Matin consists of a bent steel wire frame in polished brass. The shade fits snugly against the ceiling, hiding the technology behind it. Two E14 bulbs (not included) set the scene for the pleated shade and create an enchanting atmosphere in the room. With the Matin series of lamps, Inga Sempé wanted to create cheerful and modern lamps that do not look kitschy and fit any type of interior. Whether in a private environment or in commercial areas - the lights of the series Matin become a special eye-catcher everywhere.
