'We need your help to end sun poverty. Sadly, high-quality sunscreen isn't always affordable or accessible but, when you buy our Escentual Sunscreen SPF50+ to protect yourself and your family, you'll be helping to make a difference by donating directly to deserving families in the UK.' - Kate, Escentual Beauty Team.   Why You'll Love Our Sunscreen: For every one bought, we donate one to those who need it most. You will be making a difference to a school child's life. You'll be supporting our mission to get skin cancer cancelled. Our sunscreen is available in two designs: one for kids and one for adults. It's an award-winning high protection broad-spectrum SPF50+. Designed for all skin tones and types. Dry-touch, zero white-cast formula. Water-resistant for up to 4 hours. Suitable for use after 6 months of age. Sits well under makeup for a smooth finish. Fragrance-free, paraben-free and oxybenzone-free. Made in Australia and complies with the highest Australian Sunscreen Standard. AUST L number on the label means the sunscreen is listed on the Australian Register of Therapeutic Goods (ARTG).   What You Need To Know: We're on a mission to end sun poverty - and you can help us by supporting our #SunPoverty campaign. Since 2021, we've donated almost 50,000 sunscreens to UK school children eligible for free school meals through our buy-one-donate-one scheme. But it doesn't stop there; this year, we need your help to donate even more! We've made sure our SPF ticks every box: it offers 4-hour water resistance, it's hypoallergenic and it's fragrance-free. We were thrilled when it won a Pure Beauty Bronze Award, too. But the most important thing is that it offers very high broad-spectrum protection. This means it protects against both UVA and UVB rays (which are the cause of everything from sunburn to photoageing and skin damage). And yes, UVA rays can even penetrate through clouds and windows! Our chemical sunscreen also looks after your skin using antioxidant vitamin E and skin-soothing aloe, which offers anti-inflammatory and skin-quenching benefits.   Why It's Escentual: There's never been anything more Escentual (pun intended!) than our SPF50+ sunscreen for kids and adults. Here at Escentual, we're incredibly passionate about teaching about the importance of wearing sunscreen, so everyone is better equipped to keep their skin safe and healthy in the sun. Not everyone has easy access to affordable broad-spectrum SPF, but we want to change this through our #SunPoverty initiative. For every single one of our not-for-profit sunscreens bought - or any Clarins or Shiseido sun care - we'll be sending one directly to a school child. We're working closely with local schools, In Kind Direct and Beauty Banks to make sure your donation gets to those who need it most. We know how much you loved our zero white cast sunscreen, so in 2022, we released an adult version to protect your skin. And yes, our kid-friendly version will be automatically donated when you purchase that, too.   The Best Way To Use It: Apply 20 minutes before sun exposure, so that the sunscreen has a chance to soak into the skin properly. Take care to apply a generous even layer, ensuring that you don't miss any parts exposed to sunlight (areas that are often forgotten about are the under eye area, eyelids and the inner corner of your eye socket, along with the ears, neck, and back of the neck. Reapply every two hours to maintain a high level of protection, taking care to reapply after excessive sweating, swimming or towel drying.   The Sustainable Side: The cap is recyclable and the bottle is also recyclable once the label and clip have been removed. Alternatively, you can reuse the carabiner clip on the kid's bottle.   Values: Dermatology-tested, hypoallergenic. Cruelty-free, fragrance-free, paraben-free, oxybenzone-free, 4-Methylbenzylidene Camphor-free, Octinoxate/Octyl Methoxycinnamate-free, PABA-free, MIT & Chlorphen-free. AUST L 319293. (In Australia, the ARTG (Australian Register of Therapeutic Goods) is a central point of control and regulation for all products that make any type of 'medical claim', such as 'protecting against UV radiation'. Having an AUST L number on our sunscreen means that it has been assessed and approved by the TGA (Therapeutic Goods Administration) to meet mandatory requirements regarding ingredients and manufacturing as well as the information that can be displayed on the labelling). Expiry date 05 (May) 2025. Batch BK556.
