Aquaforest KH Plus is a fast acting and effective water treatment conditioner for Marine Aquariums where the carbon hardness levels have dipped. For marine tanks, the correct level of carbon ions is essential for healthy coral growth and for building skeletons. If the levels of KH drop inside the tank, the growth of these corals is interrupted. Aquaforest KH Plus is a highly concentrated formula booster that has been developed to help raise carbonate levels in marine tanks and to restore the ionic balance in the water. Due to the presence of carbonate ions, maintaining stable pH levels is possible and creates an environment that is in balance. The KH Plus can be used alongside CA Plus to increase the effectiveness of the CA Plus treatment for calcium levels Specifications Dosage 10ml of KH Plus solution raises carbonate hardness by 0.25 dkh in 100l (27G) of water. Carbonate harness in reef aquariums should be about 6.5 â 8.5 dKH. Do not raise dkH more than 0.5 dKH per 24 hours. Please ensure magnesium level is within the recommended range before attempting to raise or adjust calcium and alkalinity levels. How to use Check your Kh levels first. It's better for the tank inhabitants to dose the same amount of KH Plus with a couple of smaller doses instead of one big dose Ensure the interval between doses of calcium, magnesium and KH are 5 minutes apart Dose product to sump, panel or overflow Do not raise dkH more then 0.5dKH per 24 Hours.
