Malabar Spinach 10 seeds - TORSEED Malabar climbing spinach - an annual, thermophilic climbing/creeping plant for growing in flower beds and in containers. Tolerates temperatures above +5°C. It is a vegetable, ornamental and medicinal plant. It has no special soil requirements, it tolerates both periodic drought and excess water. The fleshy leaves are systematically eaten (raw, for salads, soups, sandwiches, it can also be prepared like spinach. Young shoots can be prepared like asparagus. When raw, it has a citrus and peppery flavor and is especially popular in Asian cuisine. It is a source of many vitamins and minerals, it also has antibacterial, antifungal and anticancer properties, and neutralizes toxins in the body. Sow seeds at least 6-8 weeks before planting, because emergence is uneven and lasts up to several weeks. Before sowing, the seeds should be soaked in lukewarm water for several to even 24 hours.   Due to its hanging shape and decorative appearance, the plant is often grown on sunny balconies and terraces. Refunds
