DESIGN: The LAICA Carmen water filter jug has a total capacity of 2.3 litres and a filtered water capacity of 1.2 litres, and is designed to fit comfortably inside most refrigerator doors. For ease of use, the jug ​​is equipped with a removable electronic indicator that indicates when it is time to replace the cartridge. Active carbons are effective in reducing chlorine and derivatives. Ion exchange resins are effective in reducing heavy metals present in tap water. The bi-flux cartridge reduces unwanted substances such as: heavy metals, chlorine, chemical contaminants, some pesticides and chlorinated herbicides and trihalomethanes where present in the mains water. FILTER CAPACITY: This convenience pack ships with 3 filter cartridges, enough for 3 months of filtered water. Additional cartridges are available separately. Each LAICA bi-flux water filter cartridge can filter up to 150 litres of water, about 1 months supply, and, like all the components of the filter cartridge, are fully traceable to further guarantee the product’s quality and safety.
