Natural interaction for guaranteed great cooking results.   NikolaTesla Unplugged is controlled through fixed click-release knobs with analog touch & feel, providing quick and intuitive access to its features. All elements are incorporated into a bold-lined appearance, developed to intelligently separate the cooking zone from the control area. An elegant shock-resistant bulkhead protects the control area from every possible contact with cookware and from any unwanted spills.   The bold style knobs give Nikolatesla Unplugged a professional, robust and high-quality look. Their perfect grip texture covers an extremely stable internal structure, while the magnetic release of the outer cover makes cleaning and maintenance operations easy and precise. Smooth and easy cleaning operations of the hob are also guaranteed by the central glass flap, which conceals the extraction area, activating it only when necessary.   NikolaTesla Unplugged is equipped with three automatic cooking features:  Melting, thanks to which it is no longer necessary to stir delicate ingredients so they don’t burn onto the bottom of the pot, Warming, that guarantees proper heat levels for slow cooking, like for sauces and creams, in addition to keeping  dishes warm, and Simmering, that prevents the overflowing of boiling water for more vivacious cooking.   Finally, the two Bridge zones allow for the preparation of dishes that require the use of over-sized cookware, by joining two adjacent cooking zones and guaranteeing even cooking over its entire surface.   Thanks to the Autocapture feature, NikolaTesla Unplugged automatically sets the most suitable air extraction power, by gradually adjusting and lowering it to remove odours left behind after cooking. The powerful extraction system, positioned in the center of the hob, guarantees high fume capture levels, as it far exceeds their rising speed. Thanks to Comfort Silence technology, noise levels are extremely low even at maximum speed, thus allowing for pleasant conversation while cooking.   Delay Switch Off A smart timer feature allows you to set the automatic switch-off of the product after a predetermined time. Delayed shutdown may be used in order to leave the hood on even after cooking, so to fully remove stubborn odours and residual humidity.   Maintenance Alarm Products equipped with this feature have an indicator light that alerts the user when grease and odor filters are about to reach maximum saturation. Therefore, it's easy to always know when it's time to wash or replace them, in order to keep the appliance clean and operating properly over time.   Melting Mode The Melting Mode feature is the ideal solution for more delicate cooking, such as melting butter or chocolate, without ruining their texture or taste. The temperature is kept very low (below 50°) to assure that the ingredients fully melt, without the need to continuously mix them, and with no risk of ingredients sticking to the bottom of the pot.   Warming Mode This feature was designed for low temperature cooking, ideal for heating liquids such as milk and broth, as well as creams and sauces without worrying about them over-heating. Furthermore, Warming Mode keeps prepared food warm, while other foods are still cooking.   Simmering Mode This particular feature controls the power level of the cooking zone, allowing foods to simmer for long periods of time, preventing over-boiling and accidental liquid over-flow. At the same time, it prevents the hardening of foods or possible burning at the bottom of the pot, which is typical when preparing rice, soups and boiled vegetables.   Fast Boiling This feature is perfect for foods that require faster cooking. Just one touch sets the cooking zone at maximum speed, for 10 minutes, bringing the contents of the pot to a boil 30% faster, in comparison to common induction hobs available on the market.   Tasty Fry Whether cooking one or more portions, the hob always assures great tasting fried foods. The powerful induction system allows oil to reach an ideal frying temperature (180°) in half the time, in comparison to traditional hobs. In this way, food absorbs less oil, resulting in healthier dishes and the possibility of cooking more portions in less time.   Pot Self-Detection The hob is equipped with special technology that automatically detects the presence of cookware on the cooking zones. Once detected, the corresponding controls will light up on the interface, thus letting the user set the power level.
