TASTING NOTES: The warm vanilla, complex botanicals and golden citrus notes of the Licor 43 secret recipe blend beautifully with the richly nuanced flavour of Canarian coffee, infused with aromas of chocolate and dried fruits. CANARY COFFEE: The Agaete Valley is a hidden paradise in the Canary Islands with incredibly rich volcanic soils. For over 200 years local farmers have grow coffee here at 400 meters altitude, in the shade of mango and papaya trees. THE CULTURE: In Gran Canaria it is common to grow coffee plants in gardens in order to produce your own coffee to take after lunch, especially if guests are visiting. In the same vein, Licor Baristo can be enjoyed ritually after lunch. TRY A COCKTAIL: Baristo Sour- Shake up 50ml Licor Baristo, 20ml Amaretto, 20ml fresh lime juice and 10ml egg white, in a cocktail shaker. Pour all ingredients into an old fashioned glass, stir slightly and garnish with a cherry and slice of lime.
