This is a lovely pattern for a giraffe named 'Georgina'. She was originally knitted in Double Knitting Wool using No.11 needles. So you may like to try modern Double Knitting wool to get similar results as the vintage, but work a tension square first in case a change of needles is needed to obtain the tension stipulated in the pattern. WIRE IS USED IN HER LEGS, NECK AND NOSE to help her stand and keep her neck upright. Please OMIT THE WIRE if giving to a child or vulnerable person. She also is covered in embroidered crosses (or kisses!) for her patterning. A really lovely pattern to knit!

Refunds
