Product Description

You are buying an A4 modern print of the original pattern, not the finished items.

This is a really lovely pattern for a complete wardrobe for either a baby boy or girl. There are nine items for you to knit, you can choose from a stunning coat, leggings (with bib), rompers, dress, bonnet, bootees, bolero, dolman coatee and shawl, and I love the oversewing of the eyelet holes in pink and white wool which connects all these special items together. Truly a heritage wardrobe of clothing for baby in every way! All items are worked in 3-ply on No.11 needles with exception of the leggings which require a set of four No.11 needles and the pram rug which requires D/K wool and No.7 needles. You may wish to knit these items for baby in a modern 4-ply wool (in place of the vintage 3-ply) as vintage yarns were heavier than modern, but do work your tension square before starting your project to see if a change of needles is needed to obtain the tension stipulated in the.
