This is such a fun vintage pattern for a crochet \""Sunflower\"" style poncho which could be used as a beach cover up, or for a festival, or just a lovely summer statement for both the young and the young at heart to wear. The poncho is simply made up of two different sized motifs; the big sunflowers and smaller motifs which join the flowers together, so simple and such fun to work!! The instructions show the poncho as having a centre front length of 30 inches and as free size (no dress size given), and is worked in D/K yarn on 4mm crochet hook. This pattern dates from when in the UK wools were becoming standardised, so you should be fine using modern D/K, but work a tension square first to see if a change of hook is necessary.
