Product Description

You are buying an A4 modern print of the vintage pattern and not the finished item.

This cosy pattern is simply adorable and any of the cosies shown would make a great centrepiece to afternoon tea with friends or family. It allows you to knit a Crinoline Lady (top right) which the pattern entitles \""Mi-Lady's Crinoline Covers The Teapot\"", a stunning Shepherdess and a Carnation cosy topped off with totally divine carnation flowers. Both lady's are knitted in Sirdar Majestic wool on either No.6 or No.7 needles. Although which ply of majestic is not mentioned, going by the tension, needle size and other patterns using the same wool, I think that it is likely to be the 4-ply version which is similar to modern D/K, so I'd try D/K or 10-ply, but work a tension square first. The Carnation cosy is in Shetland 3-ply for the body of the cosy and Shetland 2-ply for the flowers. For this cosy I would consider using modern 4-ply and 3-ply respectively as vintage .
