You are buying an A4 modern print of the original pattern and not the finished item.
We all enjoy a piping hot cup of tea at some point throughout the day, so why not add a special touch to this high point of our day by treating our beloved teapots to a newly knitted cosy! This lovely vintage pattern dates from the 40s and allows you to recreate two styles of tea cosy in knitting; a crinoline lady with nest and a tie-up style the pattern calls a 'Honeycomb' Tea Cosy (for obvious reasons!) which also comes with nest. Both cosies are knitted in D/K wool and are designed to fit a medium sized tea pot.
The ringed layered crochet pot is also in D/K wool and designed to fit a medium sized pot, and would look amazing in red and white on the breakfast or teatime tea tray!
Tea cosy's make wonderful gifts for folk and are fairly quick to make!!
MATERIALS FOR HONEYCOMB COSY & NEST:
D/K wool
1 pair of No.8 needles & a set of 4 No.10 needles and cab.
