You are buying an A4 modern print of the vintage pattern and not the finished item.
This is a super pattern for 4 styles of scarf which could fit any day or evening occasion. All were originally knitted in Sirdar's \""Finessa\"" yarn, which is now sadly long discontinued, but it seemed to be a light weight fine yarn, similar to our modern 3-ply or 4-ply. So try your chosen yarn in a tension square and change ply or needles as necessary to obtain the tension stipulated in the pattern. The Pom-pom scarf can be knitted in either a square or oblong shape and no finished size is given as you knit the scarf to the size you require, however the edge is crocheted (round 4 edges of square scarf and 2 edges of oblong) using c.h. and d.c. stitches. Instructions are given on how to make the pom-poms. Regards the 'lilac scarf in fern stitch', no tension information is given.

Refunds
